My Dog in Doll Clothes

I got a dog for Christmas and her name is Sadie. She is a Jack Russell.

I wanted to play, even though she was a little bit tired. I kept her awake, even though she was sleepy. I got out my doll clothes and found some small ones. I put them on her. Here's a picture of her with them on.

That's pretty funny, huh?

I wanted to make a poster. I was suppose to take a nap, but if you knew me, you would know why I did not  sleep.

Well, I will tell you that my dad is an artist. A lot of my family is artistic too.

I want to be like all of my family.

Here is my poster. If you click on my picture, you can see it bigger.

Pinecone decorations

I took my mommy's spray paints that were gold and silver. Then I sprayed pinecones and leaves and flowers. And then I painted a newspaper gold so I could have a platform for them.

Here is a picture of them.

Also, here's a picture of me and G'tums.

Also JD boy made some too. You can see his on his blog.

Architectural Rendering

I drew this picture at my grandpa's office. He scanned it for me on his scanner and then he printed it. I drew it by pencil. Then he made the lines darker before he printed it. Then I colored it with my grandpa's crayons. Then I showed it to my aunts and uncles.

My grandpa makes his living doing architectural drawings. Maybe I can work for him someday.

Welcome to my new blog!

Welcome to my new blog. I'm 8 years old. I have a mommy, daddy and two brothers. My mommy has a blog.  My daddy can't put up a blog. He works too much to have time for that. He does have a company of his own. My 5 year old brother has a blog too. My two-year old brother doesn't have a blog, because he's too young.

Here is a picture of my dad's side of the family.

Here is a picture of my mom's side of the family.

My mom was pregnant with my baby brother in both of those pictures, so here is a recent picture of me and my brothers and my mommy:

This is my first time I have ever had a blog. I want to show you some of my new crafts. Here are some pictures of me and my crafts.

The Croatoan tree from the Lost Colony of Roanoke. We've been learning about that.

The model I made of Jamestown. Mommy printed it from homeschoolinthewoods.com for me at Grandpa's house. Then I colored it and cut it.

My Indian mask. I made this when we were learning about New World Explorers. I made with a heavy paper plate. Then I twisted tinfoil for the shapes on the face. I put the tinfoil with tape. Then we dipped paper into homemade glue and laid the paper on the plate and got mommy's hands all messy. And then I let it dry for a day. The next day, I spray painted it with my spray paint that's gold.
